second bridge
building bridges between inmates and the world outside

Our mission statement: Secondbridge is a platform for incarcerated men and women who needs guidance to affordable legal assistance, exposure to the outside world as far as meeting people to help build friendships/meaningful relationships, and education to technology for those who’ve been incarcerated for decades. The creator of this platform has a deep passion for giving assistance to those who are incarcerated, so join us to help us help you.

Why It Matters
The United States locks up more people than almost any other country. Even though we have about 4-5% of the world’s population, we have around 20-25% of the worlds prisoners.
Here’s a look at how the U.S. compares to other countries (per 100,000 people):
United States: 531
Canada: 88
England & Wales: 145
Germany: 67
Japan: 36
This shows that the U.S. sends far more people to prison than other developed countries, even when crime rates are similar. Being in prison affects more than just the person behind bars-it impacts families, children, and communities. Many inmates want a chance to learn, grow, and rebuild their lives when they return to society. This includes those who are not returning to society.
Helping these men and women matters because it:
-Provides legal support to ensure fair treatment
-Reconnects them with people on the outside
-Gives access to technology and education for a better future
When we give people second chances, we help not just them, but also their families and the community. Supporting inmates can also reduce repeat offenses, strengthen families, and make society safer for everyone
How to Make a Difference
Real change happens when people and communities decide to care. When we offer support, understanding, and opportunity to those who are incarcerated, we help create a path toward redemption and growth. By staying connected, offering encouragement, and helping provide access to resources like legal guidance, education, and technology, we remind inmates that they are still part of society and that their lives still matter.
Communities have the power to break cycles of isolation and judgement. When we choose compassion over condemnation, we help individuals rebuild their lives, strengthen families, and create safer and healthier communities for everyone. Sometimes the greatest difference we can make is simply believing that people are capable of change and giving them the chance to prove it.

Plug-in with resources to learn about technology
Many prisoners, especially those who’ve been incarcerated for decade(s), are left behind and forgotten. I want to bring awareness to the fact that these so called wrong doers are still human beings and deserve to be plugged into resources to help and guide them so that they can be successful through their re-entry to society.
Connect with me and my platform to help bridge the gap between men and women behind bars, and the outside world
Everybody Deserves a Second Chance
Name one who doesn’t
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone…”
Before judging or condemning someone else for their mistakes, people should remember their own faults.
